The Radford University Planetarium presents a Free Planetarium Show titled "Cosmic Colors: An Adventure Along the Spectrum" with three screenings on Saturday, March 1, 2025 and Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Show Schedule:
• Saturday, March 1st at 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM
• Sunday, March 2nd at 4:00 PM
Take a wondrous journey across the entire electromagnetic spectrum! Discover the many reasons for color like why the sky is blue and why Mars is red. Take a tour within a plant leaf and journey inside the human eye. Investigate x-rays by voyaging to a monstrous black hole and then back at your doctor's office. Get ready for an amazing adventure under a rainbow of cosmic light!
"Cosmic Colors" is 32 minutes long and is produced by the Great Lakes Planetarium Association.
Shows will start with a live presentation about the sky and our neighborhood in space and will continue with a full dome show.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
The Radford University Planetarium is located at 925 East Main Street in Radford, VA.
