Watch the Virginia Tech Softball team compete against ACC conference opponent and in-state rival the University of Virginia in a three-game series starting on Friday, March 7 2025 through Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Tech Softball Park.
Series Schedule:
• Friday, March 7th at 6:00 PM
• Saturday, March 8th at 2:00 PM
• Saturday, March 9th at 12:00 PM
It's the Annual Maroon Effect game. Fans are invited to wear maroon to the Sunday series closer. In collaboration with the Undergrad Student Senate, official Maroon Effect shirts are available for purchase here, with portions of the proceeds benefitting the student organization. Only fans wearing maroon to the game will be eligible to enter a raffle at the Promotions Table.
All kids, families, and staff of neighboring school districts are invited to the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash. Kids may pick up a free shaker at the Promotions Booth while supplies last throughout the weekend and visit with HokieBird while he's there.
Admission is free and all are welcome. No tickets are required for Hokie Softball games.
Parking is available behind the outfield at Tech Softball Park and enter along the right field side of the stadium. Stands open one hour prior to the start of the game. All general admission fans should enter along the third base side of Tech Softball Park.
Due to the outdoor nature of this event, we encourage you to visit the website linked below or contact the university to ensure the event has not been postponed or cancelled due to weather conditions.
