The Blacksburg Library presents the program "Local Spring Wildflowers" on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
One of the signs of spring is the emergence of wildflowers in the woods and fields. Join Master Naturalist, Bill Sydor, for a photographic journey to meet some the most common local wildflowers and learn some of the basic principles of wildflower identification.
Bill is a member of the Virginia Native Plants Society and the Training Committee for the NRV Chapters of the Virginia Master Naturalist Program. He has had an interest in nature since childhood and has been photographing wildflowers for over forty years.
