Historic Smithfield presents a Benefit Concert with New River Ranch on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Historic Smithfield's Pavilion.

Enjoy a benefit concert for Historic Smithfield featuring Grand Ole Opry's Corbin Hayslett and his banjo.

New River Ranch harkens back to the original style of mountain music, evoking early Stanley Brothers' vibes and the greatest hits from the early 1920’s and beyond. You are sure to go away tapping your feet and feeling proud to be from the Appalachian Mountains after experiencing New River Ranch's dance music, murder ballads and storytelling.

New River Ranch's members are accomplished musicians from Southwest Virginia and Western North Carolina with a wide variety of experience playing music all over the world.

Admission is $25.00 per family or $10.00 for individuals. Volunteers and donors admitted free.

Historic Smithfield is located at 1000 Smithfield Plantation Road in Blacksburg, VA.
