The Radford University Planetarium presents a Free Planetarium Show titled "Destination Mars: The New Frontier" on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

The next giant leap in human spaceflight is upon us! Our "Red Planet" neighbor has fascinated us for centuries, but we are now working to get there in person. Featuring the voice of Dr. Mae C. Jemison, physician, scientist, teacher and first Black woman NASA astronaut.
Destination Mars is 32 minutes long and is produced by the Museum of Science, Boston.

All shows will start with a live presentation about the sky and our neighborhood in space and will continue with the full dome show.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

The Radford University Planetarium is located at 925 East Main Street in Radford, VA.
