NRV Cares and the Montgomery County Department of Social Services presents the 4th Annual Montgomery County Spring Family Fun Festival on Thursday, April 17, 2025 in the back parking lot of the Christiansburg Recreation Center.
Join us for a free fun filled afternoon to celebrate fun and healthy childhoods including free food (hot dogs, cotton candy & popcorn), games, prizes, resources and more!
Everything is free and all are welcome.
NRV CARES is an organization in the New River Valley that provides child advocacy, resources, education and services. Our program areas include CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Parent Education including Parenting Young Children Courses, Circle of Parents Support Group, Parenting Through Separation and Divorce Seminars, and Parenting workshops and Community Education programs ("Hugs and Kisses" plays, Stewards of Children trainings, the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign to increase awareness of child abuse/neglect, events for the community concerning child welfare issues, and many more).
NRV CARES’ mission is to strengthen families and protect children with a vision of our NRV free of child abuse.
