Historic Smithfield presents a Friendship Basket Weaving Class on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Grab a friend and come to enjoy learning to weave a Friendship Basket. Measuring approximately 7" X 4.5", this is an easy to weave basket. A multipurpose and versatile basket that is great for small gift giving and all season decorating.

The cost is $40.00 per person.

Reservations are required and can be made online: https://www.historicsmithfield.org/classes/p/friendship-basket-class.

Weaving experience is helpful, but not required.

Students need to bring a pencil and old towel.

The age requirement is 15 and above. Class size is limited to 10.

Historic Smithfield is located at 1000 Smithfield Plantation Road in Blacksburg, VA.
