Comedians Gone Rogue and McClain's at First & Main presents a Comedy Show with headliner Cliff Cash on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at McClain's.

Enjoy headliner Cliff Cash as he is joined by fellow comedian Johnny Camacho.

Cliff Cash is a North Carolina native born in a small southern town where he was exposed to everything from Nascar to banana and mayonnaise sandwiches. Let’s put it this way, he may have had a rat tail at one point. Growing older and seeing more of the world, Cash soon developed a not so healthy love/hate relationship with the shenanigans of southern small town life finding inconsistencies in many of the cultural, political, social and dogmatic guidelines that once seemed to be set in stone.

After going through what can only be described as rock bottom, Cliff decided he’d try stand up at an open mic thinking it may make him feel better to laugh not knowing it would change his life. What it really did was save his life. Seeing through a new set of eyes and knowing what he was meant to do, Cash took the local comedy scene by storm and was opening for national headliners one month into his comedy career.

Fast forward two years and he was writing and performing multiple different 30 minute sets as a feature for many other clubs around the country and is now headlining some of the best Indy shows, colleges, theatres and clubs in the Southeast.

Recent winner of the Port City’s Top Comic 2013, Almost Famous 2013, Regional winner of Comedy Central’s UpNext and runner up/finalist in several other competitions, Cash is just getting started. He has been chosen to perform in the Cape Fear Comedy Festival 2011, 2012, 2013 and Norfolk Comedy Festival 2014, a finalist for the Martin Grant and chosen to showcase at 2015 NACA south. Cash has opened for amazing comics like Michael Ian Black, Bert Kreischer, Jeff Dye, Kyle Grooms, Todd Glass, Rory Scovel, Alonzo Bodden and many more.

Johnny Camacho is a Roanoke-based comic actor and writer, originally from the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. In the sixth grade, he got the title role in a stage production of Winnie the Pooh. He didn't learn any of his lines. It was his first improv performance.

A theatre arts major, Johnny graduated from Roanoke College in 2012 with academic distinction and departmental honors. In 2013, he attended the prestigious Sewanee Writer's Conference to workshop an original play under Daisy Foote and Dan O'Brien. He later moved to Brooklyn, New York performing comedy and improv.

He's performed stand-up and improv at some of New York's most recognizable comedy houses including Caroline's on Broadway, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, The PIT, and Magnet. Now he hosts and performs shows around Southwest Virginia.
