Merc Farms in Thee Draper Village presents the May Draper Village Heritage Market with the theme Makers and Creators on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
Join us for our Makers and Creators Heritage Market, a celebration of 40+ local artisans showcasing their unique creations, just in time for Mother’s Day! Browse a beautiful selection of local, handmade gifts perfect for celebrating the moms in your life. From art and crafts to self-care treasures and truffles, fresh breads and pies, local meats, homemade goat milk soaps, and so much more, you’ll find something truly special.
Additionally, the Pulaski YMCA will be on site with kid's activities, Kim Knapp will lead a yoga class at Merc Jr. from 10:00-11:00 AM, the Master Gardeners Summer Crops with a demo on Spring Bulbs at 9:30 AM, local historian April Martin will demonstrate chair caning and candle making in the fire pit, Mabane Manor Vineyards and wood turning with Don Yoder.
Plus, "I Can Sharpen That" will be on-site to take care of all your sharpening needs. Cost depends on the item. Bring your knives, scissors, garden tools, and more!
Keith Webb will hosts the Old Time Jam and perform live music from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Bring your instruments, voice and enjoy a fun jam session with fellow musicians!
Located in the heart of Draper, VA, the Draper Village Heritage Market is a vibrant gathering place that celebrates our community’s rich heritage, craftsmanship, and agricultural roots. Experience the best of local arts, crafts, and food while enjoying workshops, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive exhibits that honor traditions and promote sustainable living. Join us to grow roots, get grounded, and embrace the spirit of community and culture that defines Draper Village. The Heritage Market will be held on the first Saturday of the month from April through December.
There will be food available at the market, but if you plan to dine in at The Draper Mercantile, please be sure to make a reservation in advance.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
