The Blacksburg Library presents a Cat Cafe and Therapy Dogs on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
College students, come take a break during Virginia Tech's Reading Day and pet some cats to de-stress from studying! Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center will be bringing shelter cats for socialization. Free Cat Café tickets will be available at the circulation desk starting at 9:00 AM the day of the event. Spots are limited.
Prefer pups? Alastair and Seamus, local therapy dogs, will be here, too! No ticket needed for dogs.
Show your student ID at the circulation desk for free coffee, tea, or lemonade while supplies last.
The Blacksburg Library is located at 200 Miller Street in Blacksburg, VA.
