Hacksburg presents the workshop "Woodblock Printing" on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll use a variety of pre-carved woodblocks to create your own fine art prints using Hacksburg's printing press. We'll discuss traditional hand carving techniques and demonstrate contemporary examples created using Hacksburg's laser cutter and CNC mill.

You'll also learn how to prepare designs for carving, apply ink correctly, and use both machine and manual printing methods, including hand printing with a baren.

By the end of the class, you'll take home your own handcrafted prints and the skills to continue this versatile art form on your own.

The cost of the class is $5.00 for non-members and free for Hacksburg members.
