Claytor Lake State Park presents Light Up the Lake on Friday, July 4, 2025.
Stroll along our lake shore as you visit several enchanting lights that have been placed in or along the lake. Animals of all sizes and varieties may be drawn to the lights.
Identification brochures may be picked up at the start of the program and a ranger will be on duty to assist with identifying anything seen.
Bring a strong flashlight if you want to search the waters between the lights and be sure to visit the Gas Dock where our underwater camera will be in use.
The event is free though the $7.00 per vehicle parking fee for the park still applies.
Claytor Lake State Park is located at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive in Dublin, VA.
