Claytor Lake State Park presents Fantastic Foraging on Saturday, July 5, 2025 beginning at the Campground Dogwood Fire Pit.
Have you ever picked wild blackberries or collected wild herbs for a recipe? Congratulations, you are a forager! Join our rangers as we take a short guided hike down the Poplar Trail searching for wild edible plants and trees while connecting with the natural world and learning more about where exactly food comes from.
The event is free though the $7.00 per vehicle parking fee for the park still applies.
If your group is more than five people, please contact the email listed ahead of time so we may accommodate you.
Claytor Lake State Park is located at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive in Dublin, VA.
