The Town of Narrows and the Narrows Parks & Recreation presents the 74th Annual Narrows Homecoming Festival and July 4th Celebration on Friday, July 4, 2025 at the Narrows Town Park.

Schedule:
• 11:00 AM: 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
• 12:15 PM: Kids Parade Lineup
• 12:30 PM: Kids Parade from Monroe Street to the Park
• 1:00 PM: Flag Raising Ceremony and National Anthem
• 1:00-6:00 PM: Free Kids Activities including Splash Pad & Bounce House
• 1:00-9:45 PM: Food & Retail Vendors Available
• 1:00 PM: Pickleball Tournament
• 1:15 PM: Welcome Speech by Mayor
• 1:45-2:30 PM: Destiny
• 2:30-4:15 PM: DJ Choice
• 4:15-5:00 PM: Emma Shirey
• 5:15-5:45 PM: Wyatt Freeman
• 6:00-7:30 PM: Phat Boyz Band
• 8:00-9:30 PM: Ride'n Shotgun Band

Celebrate the Fourth of July with us! Bring the family out for a day of fun and celebrating! Enjoy live music headlined by the Phat Boyz Band and Ride'n Shotgun Band, Annual Children's Parade, games including the annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Pickleball Tournament, Splash Pad, bounce house, obstacle course, mechanical surf board, laser tag, food & retail vendors and more concluding with the Fireworks Show!

Admission is $4.00 per person. Some activities have additional costs.

This year we have a new location for the fireworks with a better view from everywhere in the park, from the basketball courts to the middle shelter. You don't even need to get up from your seat after watching the band!

Ride'n Shotgun Band is five-member band based in southwest Virginia playing popular country and rock music. They love getting their audience members out of their seats and dancing on the floor.

The Phat Boyz Band plays a variety of country, rock and dance favorites and is based in Southwest Virginia.

Emma Ruth Shirey is a Virginia folk singer and songwriter.

The Kid's Parade is open to all children to walk or ride bikes, scooters, peddle cars, etc. and to dress up in your best patriotic attire. The line-up begins at 12:15 PM on Monroe Street behind Ragsdale football field and the parade begins at 12:30 PM. No registration required and no gas powered rides allowed.

The Double Elimination 3-On-3 Basketball Tournament is $40.00 per team with a maximum of four players per team. There are three divisions: Grades 4th-7th, Grades 8th-12th and Adults 18+. Registration deadline is 11:00 AM on July 4th. To register text 540-599-9700 or 540-599-1135.

The Doubles Pickleball Tournament is $30.00 entry per team and is limited to 20 teams. It's a double elimination tournament and the first team to 11 wins. Sign up by June 30th.

The Narrows Town Park is located on Route 61 between Wolf Creek and Park Drive in Narrows, VA.
