The Selu Conservancy at Radford University continues their Summer at Selu events on Friday, July 11, 2025.

During these special "Summer at Selu" dates and times, Selu Conservancy is open to the public to enjoy and experience. No special programming will be taking place, just nature at it's best.

Enjoy some quiet, reflective time in nature. The trails are open to walk or hike. The riverfront has a little dock. Feel free to bring a floatation option for getting on the Little River. There’s an outlook. Or you could bring a picnic lunch, set up for painting or drawing (lots of inspiration), or bring a blanket and lay in the grass. It’s a beautiful place to relax!

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Radford University’s Selu Conservancy is located just minutes from campus on 380 acres along the Little River. Located only seven miles from campus, Selu also serves as an extended classroom. Beautiful views, abundant trails, an impressive retreat center and a river-front boathouse provide an ideal environment for corporate meetings, family reunions, school outings or for other groups seeking an off-the-beaten-path retreat. Selu Conservancy is a special place for students, faculty, staff and community groups to bring the environment and education together.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the conservancy.
