Zeppoli's presents their 6th Annual Italy Week starting on Sunday, July 20, 2025 and continuing through Wednesday, July 23, 2025. For the third day of Italy Week, enjoy Risotto ai Frutti di Mare on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

Join us for our 6th Annual Italy Week! During this four day event, each day, will feature a signature dish from a region in Italy, where it originated, and provide you with the suggested wine for the dish. And, select Italian Wines will be 20% off by the bottle!

On the third day of Italy Week, our featured Speciale will be Risotto ai Frutti di Mare and is available for one day only!

This signature dish is from the region of Veneto and will be a combination of Shallots, garlic, olive oil, and parmesan cheese sauteed in a white wine vegetable broth and tossed with risotto, clams, shrimp, and scallops!

Risotto ai frutti di mare translates to seafood risotto and is a classic Italian dish believed to have originated in the coastal regions of Veneto, particularly Venice, with it's roots tied to the bounty of the Adriatic Sea! While risotto itself has a history dating back to the 16th century, seafood risotto likely emerged as a popular variation in the 18th or 19th century. "Frutti di Mare" is an Italian phrase meaning "fruit of the sea"!
