Blacksburg Contra Dance presents their December Blacksburg Contra Dance in partnership with the Floyd Contra Dance on Saturday, December 13, 2025 on the dance floor at the YMCA at Virginia Tech.

Dance Schedule:
• 7:00-7:30 PM: Beginners Lesson
• 7:30-10:30 PM: Contra Dance

This month's concert features caller Valerie Helbert and live music from The Morrison Brothers Band.

Contra Dance is a traditional American dance in which couples dance in two long facing lines or in groups of four. No partner required!

The cost is $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for students and children under the age of 16 are free.

A beginner lesson starts at 7:00 PM and the dancing starts at 7:30 PM.

All are welcome.

If you feel sick or were recently exposed to someone with symptoms of an illness that may be contagious, please stay home and take care of yourself so we can see you at our next dance.

The YMCA at Virginia Tech is located at 1000 North Main Street in Blacksburg, VA.
