Description:
Hacksburg presents the workshop titled Metal Casting on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

Make your own sand cast Aluminum object at our casting class! Sand casting is an exciting process that’s very accessible to the hobbyist. If you have something wood or 3D printed that you'd like to cast, bring it along. If it's a complicated shape, you may want to talk to us first.

The cost of the class and materials is $15.00 for non-members and $10.00 for Hacksburg members.

This class is for attendees age 16 and up.

Wear all cotton clothes and long pants.

Hacksburg is located at 1872 Pratt Drive, Suite 1620 in Blacksburg, VA within the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center. Enter through the covered double doors at the back of the building.
