• 1:30 PM: The Shooting Creek Critters

Scott Patrick has been playing guitar for 22 years and is an avid songwriter. He has song credits with several professional bluegrass acts including Mike Bentley of Grasstowne, Darin & Brooke Aldridge Band, and Jeff Brown & Still Lonesome. He currently performs with Southwest Virginia bluegrass band Lonesome Heart.

Join us at the Floyd Country Store every Saturday at noon for Americana Afternoons. Each Saturday enjoy multiple musicians performing live on the stage inside The Floyd Country Store.

The music is varied, but has the common thread of Americana, traditional acoustic music. Some of it is indigenous, including bluegrass, or the music of contemporary singer-songwriters: you might hear the blues, or some of the Celtic or African sounds that underpin our American folk traditions.

Admission is free though a $10.00 donation is suggested.

Saturday brunch at The Floyd Country Store with Americana Afternoons is the place to be! Enjoy our special brunch menu or pick up one of our homemade soups or sandwiches, or a plate of farm-fresh salad and find a table near the stage.
