UPDATE: Due to the closure of schools and other unforeseen circumstances, we have decided to postpone "Something Rotten! Jr." until January 9, 2026.

The Pulaski County High School Players perform "Something Rotten! Jr." with three performances starting on Saturday, December 13, 2025 and Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Pulaski County High School's Jeff McCoy Theatre.

Performance Schedule:

This is the Understudy Show.

Travel back to the Renaissance for an hour of musical comedy gold in Something Rotten! JR. Adapted from the Broadway hit that Time Out New York hailed as "the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years," Something Rotten! JR. celebrates one undeniable truth: “nothing’s as amazing as a musical!".

In the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as "The Bard." When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz.

"Something Rotten! JR." features large song and dance numbers, and a wacky cast of over-the-top characters, each with their own moment to shine.

General admission tickets are $5.00, Pulaski County Public Schools faculty, staff and students with badge are $1.00.

Tickets can be purchased with cash or card at the door.

Concessions, 50/50 raffle tickets and merchandise will also be available for purchase by cash only.
