The Milk Parlor presents a Singer / Songwriter Open Mic on Monday, January 12, 2026.

Schedule:
• 6:30 PM: Signups Begin
• 6:50 PM: Drawing of Performer Names
• 7:00 PM: Performances Begin

Join us at Blacksburg's monthly Singers / Songwriter Showcase and Open Mic Night.

While we strongly encourage original songs, we welcome covers as well, so don't let that stop you from performing.

Signup begins at 6:30 PM. At 6:50 PM we will draw names from the signup list and as each name is drawn they can select a 15 minute performance slot. Performances begin at 7:00 PM. Performers who arrive after 7:00 PM can still sign-up and a second round of drawings will occur at 8:00 PM for remaining slots. If the 7:00-8:00 PM slots are not full, arrivals may select to perform during those slots on a first-come, first-selection basis.

There is no cover however a suggested donation of $5.00 by performers and audience members to support the event is encouraged.

Note: If community interest and participation is sufficient, we will hold this event the 2nd Monday of each month, venue schedule permitting.

The Milk Parlor is located at 211-B Draper Road in Blacksburg, VA.
