Join us as we plant 100 container-grown native trees and shrubs to restore riparian buffer habitat along the New River. Each year, in the New River Valley, volunteers help to plant thousands of native trees that will provide shade, habitat, and food to benefit the land, wildlife, and people for generations to come.
This community effort to restore ecology and biodiversity in the riparian buffer zone of the New River is funded through a Virginia Department of Forestry grant with support from the New River Conservancy, Nursery Natives, Ecological Restoration Collaborative, City of Radford, and Radford Parks and Rec.
