Claytor Lake State Park presents Friday Night Fishing on Friday, April 3, 2026.
Where's the best place to fish at the park? Join the rangers for a short discussion of fishing techniques and then we'll cast our lines. This event is for beginners as well as accomplished fisherman.
A valid Virginia freshwater fishing license is required for those 16 years old or older.
All supplies will be provided by the park.
The event is free, but the $7.00 state park parking fee per vehicle still applies.
Claytor Lake State Park is located at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive in Dublin, VA.
