The Blacksburg Library presents the Aging in Community four-part workshop with the first workshop titled "Your Home, Your Community, Your Choice" on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Join us for a four-part workshop focused on planning for the future and exploring ways to stay in your home and community as you age. Together, we’ll talk about the changes that may come with aging, what matters most to you, and how to make use of the resources around you.

Week One:
We’ll start with an introduction to the Aging in Community workbook and how to use it as a helpful planning tool. We’ll also talk about housing—things like home modifications, safety, and taking care of home maintenance.

Although attendance is not required for all sessions, each week builds on the last and includes practical information, discussion, and time for questions.

Admission is free though registration is required.
