Em Shawish and Live Work Eat Grow presents the event "Spring Foraging: Guided Plant Walk & Wild Food Tasting" on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Historic Smithfield.

Join Em Shawish, creator of 'For the Love of Foraging', for a guided spring plant walk where you will learn to identify, forage, and eat wild edible plants in season at Smithfield Plantation. A wild food tasting will be provided at the end of the event.

This spring foraging workshop continues our year of seasonal foraging classes put on with generous support from Mid Atlantic Folk and Traditional Arts.

Tickets are $10.00-$20.00 on a sliding scale. Pay what you can.
