Description:
The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley presents the Annual Wine and Beer Tasting Silent Auction on Friday, April 17, 2026 at the Blacksburg Country Club.

You and your friends will enjoy an evening of beer and wine tasting, dancing to Earl Brown's Dynamic Sound, and a silent auction featuring great items donated by local businesses and community members. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be prepared by Blacksburg Country Club Chefs with Wine and Beer courtesy of Vintage Cellar.

Please come support Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the NRV, one of the only local agencies that provides activities and support to people with Intellectual Disabilities in our community. Intellectual Disabilities Agency does not receive any federal or local government funding. All of our funding comes from local clubs, organizations, and supporters like you.

Tickets are $35.00 per person.

The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley provides a variety of programs including social, recreational, educational activities throughout the year for children and adults with an intellectual disability who live in the New River Valley area of southwest Virginia. Such programs address the human need for a balanced life that combines not only rest and work, but also meaningful leisure pursuits.

The agency, started by parents who were seeking services and programs for their loved ones, believes individuals deserve access to opportunities and resources available to all others. Therefore, our agency also provides advocacy supports to promote such access.
