Description:
Sustainable Blacksburg continues their monthly Lunch and Learn series with their April event titled "The Data on Data Centers" at the Blacksburg Library and online on Zoom on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

The Data on Data Centers - how they impact our environment and economy, with a focus on the electric grid, its reliability, and its costs.

Dr. Daniel Breslau with the Virginia Tech Deptartment of Science, Technology, and Society will share how the rapid expansion of data centers, especially in Virginia are impacting individuals, communities, natural systems, and the climate. What are communities and policymakers doing in response?

Admission is free and all are welcome.
