The Blacksburg Newcomers Club of the New River Valley is holding their April Meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Blacksburg, VA.

Join us at our April general meeting to meet representatives of the Rotary Club of Blacksburg. They will discuss the history of Rotary Clubs, how Rotary Clubs support the community and the benefits of membership. And, the Community Outreach speakers are Jess Tabor and Tara Hanks from the Meadowbrook Library in Shawsville, VA.

Meetings begin with an unstructured social time with coffee & refreshments followed by an informative program beginning with a local speaker from a Community Outreach group. A featured speaker will then highlight an aspect of the New River Valley.

This event is free and open to the public.

The Blacksburg Newcomers Club is a social club connecting those who just arrived in the New River Valley and those who never left. It is a social club focusing on building friendships and community for all New River Valley residents. Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month except June, July and August.

Parking is easiest in the lower parking lot off of Prices Fork Road.

Doors open 8:55 AM and the meeting is from 9:00-11:30 AM.

Luther Memorial Lutheran Church is located at 600 Prices Fork Road in Blacksburg, VA.
