The YMCA at Virginia Tech presents Halfway to Halloween Movie Night on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 outside The Lancaster House near the campus of Virginia Tech.

Celebrate Earth Month with “Halfway to Halloween”! Enjoy a thrilling night outside. Bring a friend, a blanket or chair and be ready to be scared with "Night of the Living Dead"!

"Night of the Living Dead" is a 1968 zombie horror film starring Duane Jones, Judith O'Dea and Karl Hardman and the film is rated R.

Movie Synopsis:
A ragtag group of Pennsylvanians barricade themselves in an old farmhouse to remain safe from a horde of flesh-eating ghouls that are ravaging the Northeast of the United States.

There will be a costume contest with prizes before the movie.

Tickets are $5.00 each and include a small popcorn.

In case of rain, the movie will be shown on Wednesday, April 22nd.
