The 4th Annual Radford Redbud Festival will be held at Long Way Brewing on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Celebrating all things local with a full day of live music, food, brews, art, native plants, games and more! Featuring music from Emma Ruth Shirey, The Steele Bros, Groove Kontrol, The Lonesome Brothers, and Stephanie Lea & the Wannabees.

Music Schedule:
• 12:00-2:30 PM: Emma Ruth Shirey (Patio Stage)
• 2:00-4:00 PM: The Steel Bros. (Indoor Stage)
• 3:00-6:00 PM: Groove Kontrol (Patio Stage)
• 5:00-7:00 PM: The Lonesome Brothers (Indoor Stage)
• 7:00-10:00 PM: Stephanie Lea & The Wannabees (Patio Stage)

Emma Ruth Shirey is a singer-songwriter hailing from the mountains of West Virginia, known for her raw and honest lyrics and unpretentious presence as a performer. When she isn’t playing her own songs, she covers artists like Brandi Carlile, Mumford and Sons, Clover County, Caamp, Simon and Garfunkel, and more. Emma is most known as falling along the lines of Americana and Folk music.

She currently resides in Rich Creek, Virginia and will be attending Radford University to study Music Therapy and run on their cross country and track team.

Bradley Steele is an Americana Rock 'n Roll singer and guitarist from Pulaski, VA who was also the lead singer for regional rock band Aside Oceans.

No room is too big that this man's voice cannot shake to the foundation. Something that's been missing from rock n roll for a long time is that feeling of being take to church. Bradley puts the church back in the soul of his music and will leave you wanting more.

Billy Steele is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Southwest Virginia with enough pop sensibility to pull at your heart strings, but also make you tap your feet. He loves to express himself through original work, but loves to hit you with familiar cover tunes as well to help you get to know who inspired him.

He’s a songwriter for the working class hero, and the arm chair philosopher.

Enjoy his wide array of selections and original compositions for a night that is sure to be a lot of fun.

He was previously a member of both The Antecedents and Aside Oceans.

Groove Kontrol came together about three years ago with the vision of playing music that everyone knows and loves. These talented musicians wanted to "take control of their groove," thus the name Groove Kontrol. They play a mixture of R&B, Soul, Blues and Classic Rock.

The Lonesome Brothers are a tight knit duo from a Southwest Virginia specializing in old-time, bluegrass, and traditional folk music, bringing over fifteen years of shared experience to their performances. With warm, interwoven vocals, driving acoustic picking, and a repertoire that blends classic material with original songs, they deliver heartfelt performances to any room.

Soulful and dynamic vocalist Stephanie Lea leads a powerhouse group of veteran New River Valley musicians, delivering a rich blend of classic and contemporary Blues, Rock, and R&B.

Cabo Fish Taco, and Divine Delights Bakery VA will be serving food alongside 20+ vendors and artisans, including Wood Thrush Native Nursery, Nursery Natives, Radford Plant Co., Sweet Southern Smiles Face-Painting, and many more!

Entry is completely free for this family-friendly event.
