The Floyd County Historical Society Museum presents their Annual Opening Day on Friday, April 10, 2026.
Join us for opening day at the museum! Stop by to see our latest exhibit,
"250 Years of Patriotism and Service". The 2026 exhibit at the Floyd County Historical Society’s museum at the Ridgemont is a review of military and civilian service from the Revolutionary War period to the present. Taken mostly from our collection the photographs and artifacts focus on the men and women who have served our country. Intending to be a review of local service to our Nation on the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
Admission is free.
The Floyd County Historical Society Museum is located at 217 North Locust Street in Floyd, VA.
