The Chinese American Society at Virginia Tech presents their annual culture show titled "Red Threads" on Sunday, April 12, 2026 inside the Burruss Auditorium on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Two siblings must navigate grief and tradition tradition bound by legacy and expectation. Red Threads is about love, healing, and the ties that hold us together through it all!
Every year the Chinese American Society puts on an annual culture show to display various Chinese performances and spread an appreciation of Chinese culture to the community. Our culture show will consist of a script (theatrical play portion) as well as various traditional Chinese performances and dances.
There will also be both a free raffle and paid raffle with tickets starting at $3.00 for one ticket or $5.00 for two tickets featuring local gift cards, Pokémon bundle and more.
We will be giving out free Moge Tee during intermission while supplies last.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Doors open at 4:00 PM and the show begins at 4:30 PM.
