Description:
The McConnell Library, on the campus of Radford University, continues their Spring 2026 Semester Music Mondays series with Dr. Moon on Monday, April 13, 2026 inside the Bird Room.

Join Radford University Archives and Special Collections for a free, rare indoor concert from Dr. Moon performing Americana and will also share stories and humor.

Dr. Moon, aka, Chris Saunders is a very well known local busker in the New River Valley from the Christiansburg / Blacksburg, VA area and 2012 graduate of Radford University where he majored in Performance Art and minored in Appalachian Studies. He has been part of the local music and acting scenes for 40 years and he created the Sidewalk Stage program in Blacksburg. He enjoys entertaining throughout the area with a wide variety of acoustic music on his guitar in his unique style and musical talents.
