The Cinema at Virginia Tech Club presents the 4th Annual Genesis Short Film Festival on Monday, April 27, 2026 inside the Squires Recital Salon on the campus of Virginia Tech.
The Genesis Film Festival takes place annually in Blacksburg, Virginia, hosted by the Cinema at Virginia Tech club. The festival aims to provide a platform for students at Virginia Tech to show their work to the community. Genesis seeks to uplift student filmmakers producing thought-provoking content showcasing a diverse range of styles, genres, and interests.
Films are a maximum of 12 minutes each.
The audience will vote on the Overall Fan favorite for winner.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Doors open at 7:00 PM and the festival starts at 7:30 PM.
The Squires Recital Salon is located in room 241 within the Squires Student Center which is located at 290 College Avenue in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of the Virginia Tech.
