Hacksburg presents Make the Force: Star Wars Day and Open House 2026 on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Join us for a special Star Wars-themed open house as we celebrate May the 4th at Hacksburg! Tour our community workshop and discover how our equipment and resources can help bring your creative projects to life. We'll showcase member-built Star Wars Projects and activities for a day of galactic fun.

Activities include:
• Learn and play Sabacc, the galaxy’s greatest cardgame.
• Quench your thirst at Hacksburg’s Cantina with blue milk, wookie roar, and more fun galactic drinks; Plus tunes from a galaxy far, far away!
• Undertake the bounty hunters quest adventure at our Hacksburg bounty hunter’s guild outpost.
• Showcase member-built lightsabers with demonstrations of their construction techniques, sound systems, and illumination methods.

Whether you're interested in electronics, 3D printing, woodworking, metalwork, crafting, or fabric arts, this open house offers something for everyone.

Free and open to all ages.

Star Wars cosplay is enthusiastically encouraged! Come dressed as your favorite character (or one you've created yourself) and connect with fellow makers and fans.
