Description:
Eggleston Springs Campground, Virginia Cooperative Extension and Extension Master Gardeners New River Valley presents a Community Plant Swap on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

Event Schedule:
• 1:00-3:00 PM: Plant Check-In and Door Prize Entry
• 2:00-3:00 PM: Garden Workshop
• 3:15-3:45 PM: Plant Swap
• 3:45-5:00 PM: Meet Local Community Organizations
• 5:30-6:00 PM: Door Prize Drawings
• 5:00-8:00 PM: DJ Derek Howe

You may take as many plants as you give. If you don't have a plant, that is okay. We have extras! You can take plants in rounds 2 and 3 of the Plant Swap.

There will be Garden Workshops from 2:00-3:00 PM including Make Your Own Salsa or Pizza Bucket Garden. From 3:45-5:00 PM, meet your local community organizations including Holler to Holler, Giles Community Garden, Master Gardeners / Virginia Cooperative Extension and more.

DJ Derek Howe will play music from 5:00-8:00 PM. Vinyl records will be available for purchase.

The event is rain or shine.

Eggleston Springs Campground is located at 346 Cliffview Street in Pembroke, VA.
