The Institute For Creativity, Arts, and Technology presents their 14th Annual ICAT Day on Monday, May 4, 2026 at the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech.

Join us for an afternoon of creative work, research, and collaboration at Virginia Tech. Projects from transdisciplinary courses, projects affiliated with ICAT, and community projects will be on display for the public. Hosted by the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT), this annual event brings together projects from students, faculty, and community partners working across art, science, engineering, design and beyond.

What to expect:
• Innovative research & interactive exhibits
• Work from transdisciplinary courses and ICAT-supported initiatives
• A chance to meet people, ask questions, and explore ideas across fields

The goal of the ICAT Creativity and Innovation Day is to engage and connect the public to the latest creative and innovative works of students and faculty members. Eleven projects from transdisciplinary courses, projects affiliated with ICAT, and community projects will be on display for the public. This space and time are provided to share more about your research with individuals across disciplines and build mutually beneficial relationships.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Paid parking is available in the North End Parking Garage on Turner Street. Virginia Tech has also partnered with ParkMobile to provide a convenient, contactless electronic payment option for parking, which may be used at any parking meter, campus parking space, or lot with standard F/S, C/G, or R parking.

The Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech is located at 330 Turner Street NW in Blacksburg, VA.
