Claytor Lake State Park presents the program "Beginner Birding" on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Have you ever wondered about the birds in your area?
Join our rangers to learn all the tips and tricks of bird watching and how to identify some of our common species. This event is geared towards beginners and children, but experienced birders are welcome as well.
Binoculars will be provided or you may bring your own pair.
The event is free, but the $7.00 state park parking fee per vehicle still applies.
Claytor Lake State Park is located at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive in Dublin, VA.
