The Jessie Peterman Library presents an Author Talk with Martha Taylor and her book "The Color of Covering: a Life-Changing African Adventure" on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Join us for a very special author talk with Martha Taylor, with her recent memoir, "The Color of Covering: a Life-Changing African Adventure".
Martha will share her experiences as a nun/nurse in Africa sharing passages from her book about how she got there, what she did while there and why she left. She’ll also talk about her return to America and about her process of healing over time. Discussion and questions to follow.
Martha will also have copies of her book available for sale.
The Jessie Peterman Library is located at 321 West Main Street in Floyd, VA.
