The Town of Floyd kicks off their 9th Annual Floyd Small Town Summer event series with Hoppie Vaughan & The Ministers Of Soul and Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast in an acoustic duo followed by a screening of "Zooptia 2" on Thursday, June 4, 2026 outside at Warren G. Lineberry Memorial Park.

Hoppie Vaughan and the Ministers of Soul are a Roanoke, VA based band performing classic soul and R&B and fronted by Hoppie Vaughan.

The Broadcast is hard-edged, soulful rock music bursting-at-the-seams. Drawing much of their ambience from 70's classic rock, they’re a band with an explosive female lead singer, riffing guitar, mood-altering keys and a rock-solid rhythm section. The Small Town Fall Festival Event Series is free and open to the public.

The Town of Floyd offers this series of free events to provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere in downtown Floyd, VA. Featuring music, movies, face-painting, inflatables, games, food and beverage and special activities presented by a variety of community organizations from June 4, 2026 until August 27, 2026.

Bring your lawn chair and/or blanket and we'll provide the popcorn for the movie.

Gates will be open and access provided to the public starting at 6:00 PM.
