Welcome ceremonies start at 6:00 PM with the National Anthem performed by Anthony Woodyard. This year’s Pearisburg Festival dedication ceremony will take place as part of the Friday Main Stage ceremonies. Enjoy the music of Jack & Davis Reid followed by Wilson Fairchild, who are returning to Festival this year! Known as The Statler Experience, enjoy the sons and grandsons of the world-famous Statler Brothers featuring traditional country music, humor, harmonies, and some familiar tunes.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Unlimited ride wristbands will be available for purchase. Pre-sale wristbands will be available in advance from the Pearisburg Town Hall for $20.00. Wristbands will also be sold at the Festival for $25.00. Rides will operate on Friday from 5:00-10:00 PM and on Saturday from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Guests can also purchase individual tickets.
A hands-on, interactive, and immersive "museum on wheels", the VA250 Mobile Museum Experience, housed in an expandable tractor trailer, will also be in attendance. The mobile museum brings key stories of Virginia’s rich history straight to us. The Mobile Museum at Festival will be open, Friday from 5:00-10:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Free shuttle bus service is offered both nights. Those planning to attend the festival may park behind the courthouse, ride the shuttle, and be dropped off at the front lawn of the Pearisburg Community Center. The shuttle will make continuous loops and those planning to ride shouldn’t have to wait more than 10-15 minutes. The shuttle service will run as long as necessary to ensure festival goers can get back to their vehicles.
Chairs and blankets are welcome.
