The Shawsville Ruritans present the Annual Independence Day Parade in Shawsville, VA ending at Oldtown Fields (Shawsville Middle School Rec Area) on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Parade Schedule:
• 3:15-3:30 PM: Parade Participants Line-Up near E&E Automotive on the West Side of Town
• 4:00 PM: Parade begins
Themed floats, classic cars, sports teams, costumes, churches, marching bands, businesses, livestock and more are cordially invited to participate!
It's free to participate in the parade. To participate, contact Barnett Carr at 540-320-4678 or bcarr@vt.edu.
Admission to the parade is free and all are welcome.
