The Eastmont Community Foundation presents their July 4th Celebration and continues the 2026 Oldtown Nights Concert Series with Area 581 on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Oldtown Fields in Shawsville, VA.

Event Schedule:
• 5:30 PM: Gates Open
• 6:00-9:15 PM: Area 581 in concert
• 6:00 PM: Car Show on track
• 6:00 PM: Dunk Booth
• ~9:20 PM: Fireworks Show

Celebrate Independence Day and July 4th in EastMont with live music, car show, dunk booth, Shawsville Ruritan 50/50 Raffle, concessions, adult beverages and concluding with a fireworks show!

AREA 581 is a professional band from Roanoke, VA serving live shows consisting of new and classic rock hits from the 1960s through today. Members have decades of experience and love to perform musical rock favorites you probably have never seen live.

E&E Automotive once again hosts the Car Show on the Old Town Field Track at 6:00 PM. All makes & models including motorcycles are welcome. Prizes will be awarded for Best Custom, Best Original and Best in Show. For more information and to enter call E&E at 540-268-1202 or email eeautomotive@comcast.net. Eastern Montgomery High School (EMHS) PTO will hosts a Dunking Booth starting at 6:00 PM. The cost to throw is $2.00 for one throw or $5.00 for three throws. Dunk local volunteers including assistant EMHS principal Mr. McDaniel.

Admission is $5.00 for adults and free for ages 6 & under.

Concessions and drinks will be available from EMHS Boosters including snow cones from EMHS Girls Basketball, kettle corn and drinks. Adult beverages will be available for purchase for those ages 21 & up. Support local non-profits in fundraising for Eastern Montgomery High School Athletic Boosters. EMHS Cheer will offer face painting.

Please bring cash for tickets and beer sales. Only limited credit card sales available.

Please bring your own chairs and/or blankets. No tents or umbrellas allowed.

Children ages 16 & under must be accompanied by an adult.

No outside drinks and no pets permitted. Only service dogs are allowed.
