The Town of Narrows and the Narrows Parks & Recreation presents the 75th Annual Narrows Homecoming Festival and July 4th Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at the Narrows Town Park.

• 11:00 AM: 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
• 11:00 AM: Pickleball Tournament
• 12:15-12:30 PM: Kids Parade Lineup
• 12:30 PM: Kids Parade from Monroe Street to the Park
• 1:00-6:00 PM: Free Kids Activities including Splash Pad & Bounce House
• 1:00-9:45 PM: Food & Retail Vendors Available
• 1:00 PM: National Anthem by Emma Shirey
• 1:10 PM: Welcome Speech by Mayor Tom Spangler
• 1:15 PM: Dedication of Homecoming Festival to Elwood Lambert
• 1:15-2:15 PM: Emma Shirey in Concert
• 2:30-3:00 PM: Destiny in Concert
• 3:00-3:30 PM: DJ

Celebrate the Fourth of July with us! Bring the family out for a day of fun and celebrating! Enjoy live music headlined by the MProv and Phat Boyz bands, Annual Children's Parade, games including the annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Pickleball Tournament, splash pad, bounce house, games, food & retail vendors and more concluding with the Fireworks Show!

Admission is $5.00 per person. Some activities have additional costs.

The M-Prov Band is a local, rock, variety and cover band based out of the Peterstown, West Virginia, and Roanoke, Virginia, area. They perform regularly across the Southwest Virginia and West Virginia regions, covering a wide mix of classic rock, pop, and jazz favorites.

The Phat Boyz Band plays a variety of country, rock and dance favorites and is based in Southwest Virginia.

Emma Ruth Shirey is a singer-songwriter hailing from the mountains of West Virginia, known for her raw and honest lyrics and unpretentious presence as a performer. When she isn’t playing her own songs, she covers artists like Brandi Carlile, Mumford and Sons, Clover County, Caamp, Simon and Garfunkel, and more. Emma is most known as falling along the lines of Americana and Folk music.

She currently resides in Rich Creek, Virginia and will be attending Radford University to study Music Therapy and run on their cross country and track team.

The Kid's Parade is open to all children to walk or ride bikes, scooters, peddle cars, etc. and to dress up in your best patriotic attire. The line-up begins at 12:15 PM on Monroe Street behind Ragsdale football field and the parade begins at 12:30 PM. No registration required and no gas powered rides allowed.

The Double Elimination 3-On-3 Basketball Tournament is $40.00 per team with a maximum of four players per team. There are both boys and girls divisions for middle school, high school and adults. The Doubles Pickleball Tournament is $40.00 entry per team. It's a double elimination tournament and the first team to 11 wins. Sign up in-person by 12:00 PM at the event or online at: https://wipp.edmundsassoc.com/Wipp/?wippid=NARR#miscPymtPage.

The Narrows Town Park is located on Route 61 between Wolf Creek and Park Drive in Narrows, VA.
