Auburn Eagle Pride PTSO and the Auburn Community Foundation presents EagleFest 2026 at Sinkland Farms on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

EagleFest is a community celebration to benefit Auburn Athletics and School Programs. There will be live music, delicious food and beverages, vendors, kid activities, bingo, face painting, dancing in the barn to close out the evening, live and silent auctions, and a 50/50 drawing, craft vendors and Auburn High and Auburn Middle School students will be performing with the band, Heritage Club, and theater groups.

Enjoy music from Fritz Schindler, Barry LeNoir and Allen Surface.

Barry LeNoir is a musician from Floyd, Virginia playing "sentimental and irreverent" acoustic Rock-Folk-Pop-Americana and several surprises from his deep and eclectic catalog of over 600 new and old covers.

Reverent and raucous, sacred, saucy, and always fun; acoustic guitar and harmonica songs as fit for the pub as they are for the pulpit.

Allen Surface is an acoustic musician performing primarily on the dobro and is based in Southwest Virginia and regularly performs with various local musicians from the New River Valley.

Fritz Schindler is a whirlwind of musical enthusiasm. His energetic live shows combine him playing a vast array of traditional Appalachian instruments—mandolin, guitar, hammered dulcimer, bouzouki, banjo, percussion—along with his versatile singing voice and occasionally a few friends. Frequently added into the mix are live-looping and layering techniques, combined together to make a unique and spell-binding experience we like to call Contagious Folk ‘n’ Roll.

Over the years, Fritz has shared the stage with such notable acts as Hawk Nelson, The Vespers, Raymond & Ruth McLain, The New Coon Creek Girls, Nevertheless, BlueTree, Ilia, The Afters, and 7eventh Time Down. In 2014 Fritz began touring with a full backing band, playing concerts, churches, and festivals in Tennessee, West Virginia, and his home states of Virginia and Kentucky. In 2015, Fritz hit the road again with his talented backing band, The Saucy Fellows, as well as playing a few solo shows, both featuring more instrumental songs, live-looping, and as always, the signature smile and warm enthusiasm he brings to every stage.

No matter your age or musical preference, within a few short minutes, Fritz Schindler will have your toes tapping, hands clapping, and before you know it, you’ll probably find yourself singing or dancing along…

Food will include BBQ, Mac & Cheese, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Kettle Corn, Lemonade and Eagles Nests. Sinkland Farms will be pouring beer and wine.

Auburn High School alumni will have the opportunity to meet with their classmates at the Multi-year Class Reunion with class photos at 5:00 PM. In addition, the first class of the Auburn High School Hall of Fame will be inducted at 6:00 PM. It is going to be an amazing event!

Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for kids ages 3-12 if purchased in advance. Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids at the gate.
