The Floyd Farmers Market continues their 2026 Summer Market with music from Tim Thornton and Native Plant Giveaway on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the Floyd Community Market Pavilion.

You’ll find delicious treats, unique crafts, lovely music, sweet conversations, and more. Let us come together in our vibrant small-town farmers market with the opportunity to mingle with neighbors and friends, old and new.

In addition to our amazing lineup of vendors bringing delicious offerings, we’re hosting a native plant giveaway this Saturday starting at 9:30 AM until gone! 300-400 well-rooted plugs will be available on a first come, first served basis. Gome prepared to pot up your plugs for takeaway.

Tim Thornton will perform from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM.

Tim Thornton is an award-winning local writer. He teaches English Composition and Appalachian literature at Virginia Western Community College.

Tim lives in Shawsville, VA with his family.
