The Town of Christiansburg and the Christiansburg Parks & Rec continues their 2026 Rockin' Main Street / Christiansburg Concert Series with their August concert featuring music from The Jason Adamo Band and Groove Kontrol on Saturday, August 1, 2026 in downtown Christiansburg, VA on West Main Street.

Music Schedule:
• 5:00 PM: Groove Kontrol
• 7:00 PM: The Jason Adamo Band

Join us for a night of great music, delicious food, games and community fun at our August Rockin' Main Street Concert! We’ll start the evening off at 5:00 PM with Groove Kontrol performing a mixture of R&B, soul, blues and classic rock that everyone knows and loves. Then at 7:00 PM, The Jason Adamo Band will take the stage with a mix of roots rock, Americana, and country-tinged pop.

Jason Adamo has already established himself as a truly soulful singer, entrancing audiences across the U.S. with his inspired lyrics and rapsy falsetto, while sharing he bill with many noted national acts, including Martin Sexton, Carbon Leaf, Brandi Carlisle, Corey Smith and many more.

With the addition of his band, The Jason Adamo Band puts a new spin on Adamo's classic soul. This collaboration creates a refreshing, nostalgic and unique musical experience with on eclectic feel, unique to the industry today.

Groove Kontrol came together about three years ago with the vision of playing music that everyone knows and loves. These talented musicians wanted to "take control of their groove," thus the name Groove Kontrol. They play a mixture of R&B, Soul, Blues and Classic Rock.

Attendees will also be able to purchase food and drinks from a selection of food trucks and wine & beer vendors.

An assortment of beer and wine options will be available for purchase at this event. Please bring your IDs if you would like to purchase beer or wine.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Rockin’ Main Concerts take place the second Saturday in May, June, August, and September. Rockin’ Main Concerts feature live performances by favorite local bands as well as up and coming bands.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit and watch the live music.

Concerts are rain or shine.
