Draper Mercantile and Trading Company continues their Heritage Dinner Series Appalachian Roots featuring local farm Porky Pastures in Draper, VA on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Featuring Porky Pastures this is the fifth in the Heritage Dinner series for 2026. Enjoy a special prefix farm to table menu created by our Chief Culinarian Corbin Ramey.

At Porky Pastures, regenerative agriculture is more than a farming practice; it is the foundation of the farm's mission. The team believes that thoughtfully managed, small-scale regenerative farms have the power to address many of today's health, economic, and environmental challenges.

Through intentional grazing systems, holistic animal care, and a commitment to using only the highest-quality organic inputs, Porky Pastures is helping build a more transparent, resilient, and sustainable food system from the ground up.

This holistic approach extends well beyond producing exceptional food. It reflects a commitment to restoring soil health, supporting biodiversity, caring for animals responsibly, and strengthening the well-being of the communities the farm serves. Every decision is guided by the belief that regenerative agriculture creates healthier land, healthier food, and a healthier future.

Four Course Menu:
• First Course: Peachwood smoked pork tostada
• Second Course: Fresh peach and greens salad and Peach vinaigrette
• Third Course: Bone in pork chop, Sweet potato pave, Brown butter peaches and Fresh green beans
• Fourth Course: Homemade peach cake, Chantilly cream, Locally grown strawberry mint

The dinner is $60.00 per person. An option wine pairing is available for $30.00.
