Villa Appalaccia Winery presents Music at the Villa with Alex Kerns on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Alex Kerns is a solo musician and singer/songwriter based out of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He is influenced from a wide range of music spanning from The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Sublime, Tyler Childers, and the Punch Brothers. He has written albums worth of originals in the vain of the folk Americana genre.

Throughout the years, he has played in multiple bands, including The Golden Butter Band, Reckless Island, and Low Water Bridge Band.

Traveling up and down the East Coast and back and forth from the Midwest, he always leaves the audience smiling and wanting more.

Relax and enjoy some great music along with great wine and food.

There is no cover however tips for the musicians are appreciated.

Guests are also welcome to bring outside food.

Music Saturday are back! Enjoy music every Saturday from May through October.

We love kids. We love dogs. As long as they're friendly, leashed (the dogs, of course!) and picked up after, bring them with you. We just ask that all guests are respectful of others.
