Pirates Festival Schedule:
• 12:00 PM: Battle of Peak Creek Water War
• 12:00 PM: Kids Crafts & Activities Start
• 1:00-4:00 PM: Live Pirate Music with The Crossjacks
• 2:30 PM: Competitions & Awards
• 4:00 PM: Best Dressed Pirate Contest for Both Adult & Youth
• 4:00-7:00 PM: Noah Spencer in Concert

Get on your favorite Pirate Attire and get ready to celebrate like a pirate on Claytor Lake! There will also be food and drink specials all day along with live music from The Crossjacks and Noash Spencer and more.

The Crossjacks is an acoustic folk trio playing the traditional European music that inspired today's Appalachian music. They are popular performers at Celtic, Renaissance, medieval, pirate, Viking and other festivals throughout the mid-South, often appearing in full period costume.

The trio performs an eclectic variety of the European Folk music that shaped the Appalachian music of today. Their repertoire includes authentic sea shanties, Celtic and Romanian traditional and folk songs, and old-time fiddle tunes, as well as modern festival favorites.

The Crossjacks released their self-titled debut album in July 2020.

Noah Spencer is an up and coming musician from Richlands in Southwest Virginia. He brings a genuine passion to the stage with a voice that's both soft and smooth, but also gritty and soulful. His shows cover a wide range of styles from country to rock, Americana, pop, and gospel. He enjoys singing and playing guitar, drums, piano and the ukulele. He loves to entertain and is always ready to play.

Noah was also a contestant and starred on NBC's "The Voice" in Season 24 advancing to the playoff rounds.

Noah started singing in church when he was 5 years old and picked up his first guitar when he was 11. From there he also picked up drums, piano, bass and even ukulele. He stays busy year round with school and sports, but his ultimate passion is playing music and performing any time he has the chance. His musical influences are broad and include artists from many genres including David Crowder, Shane and Shane, Zac Brown, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton and Jack Johnson just to name a few.

Kick off the 2026 Pirate Festival in true pirate fashion at 12:00 PM for the Battle of Peak Creek Water War! Bring all of your best water guns, but please leave any water balloons at home out of respect for the wildlife. The battle will take place just outside of the no wake zone near Rock House Marina, making the Pirate Festival the perfect place to retreat to.

The Competitions and Awards Ceremony begin at 2:30 PM including contests for:
• Best Decorated Pirate Ship Boat ($100 Gift Card)
• Best Children's Pirate Costume ($25 Gift Card)
• Best Women's Pirate Costume ($50 Gift Card)
• Best Men's Pirate Costume ($50 Gift Card)

Admission is free.

Dockside Grill will be open from 12:00-7:00 PM.
